After the rack is processed, the rack will be heat treated. How will the rack change after heat treatment? First of all, the rack after heat treatment usually undergoes some deformation. According to the different heat treatment methods, materials and technical requirements, the deformation is about 0.02-0.10 mm, oxygen. Chemicals reach 0.05-0.10 mm (rack with general modulus of 2-3 mm). From the processed rack, we can find out some rules in order to make a reasonable allowance.




In the case of moderate modulus, the following data can be used for each feed depth.



1) Rough cutter is 0.06-0.08mm;



2) Finishing 0.03-0.05 mm;



3) Finishing 0.01-0.02 mm.
